Invitation: New Catchment, Stormwater and River Management Policies

The Cape Town City Council has recently adopted two policies to regulate the Stormwater Management Service in the City of Cape Town. A presentation on 26 November forms part of a City wide programme towards ensuring timeous and consistent implementation of these two policies. Attendance by professionals consulting in this sector will be most welcome.

SAIEES representation on SACNASP

Our previous Chairperson, Bill Harding, has been appointed by the Minister of Science and Technology to serve on the SACNASP Council for a period of 4 years. This is the first time SAIEES, as a voluntary organization, has had direct representation on this Committee. Bill has recently attended the first meetings for 2009 and has passed the following on to us.
